The newest district position is the
Lions Services for Children chairperson. More than 330 Lions Services for Children
chairpersons have agreed to: -
encourage clubs to conduct community assessments of children's needs.
- support
clubs' efforts to collaborate with other individuals and organizations concerned
about children in adverse circumstances.
For

Services for Children Program."
Many Lions clubs also sponsor
Scouts (Lions sponsor more Scout troops than any other non-religious
organization) and the association upholds
partnerships with other youth organizations.
