Encourage
your Lions clubs to introduce young people to community service
through
sponsorship of a Leo club.
The Leo Club
Motto is:
Leadership - Leos develop skills as organizers, time
managers, and motivators of their peers.
Experience - Leos learn the importance of cooperation
through the performance of community service.
Opportunity - Membership in a Leo club provides young
people with a chance to excel, to develop character traits,
and to receive recognition for their contributions to the
community.
The Bloomingdale Lions Club sponsors new Leo club from Westfield
Jr High School.
Also the Bartlett Lions Club sponsored new Leo club last year.
There are more
than 5527 Lions-sponsored Leo clubs for young people, ages
12-28, in 139 countries.
